first day home.

today was your first official day being at home.  i think you liked it. you slept a lot, got a manicure, watched a movie with autumn and i, and you slept again.  you weren't very lively, but you sure were a lil' cuddle bug. i love having you fall asleep on me.  i still can't believe how tiny you are, and hopefully you lose the little red tint you have going on in your hair...but if you don't, i won't stop loving you.

welcome home!

i brought you home today.  at 8:13 pm to be exact.  dad was at work and had to close and so he couldn't come pick us up.  good thing grandma came to the rescue.  you didn't even fit in your carseat.  i was so nervous to put you in the car and drive home.  i didn't want anything to happen to you.  you loved the car though. you slept the whole ride home.  we got you all situated back at the ol' homestead.  dad was so excited to come home and see you...

ryleigh. you're finally here. i have been waiting my whole life to meet you. you are nothing but perfect. i love you more than you will ever know. i can't wait to find out what you are like, to get to know your personality, and to be able to spend forever with you. i have no idea what i am doing, i have never done this 'mom' thing before.  be patient with me, please. we are both in this together.
