halloween.

your first halloween consisted of three outfits...i know, call me crazy, but you just had too many outfits and they won't fit you next year...so...i made you wear all three (on different occasions of course)

1. MONKEY - aunt kelsey bought you this outfit before you were born, and she insisted that you wear it. (you wore this one to our ward party - dad and i were the zookeepers)

2. GIRAFFE - grandma mitchell got you a giraffe outfit a few months ago... (you wore this to our friend's party)

you won best costume award :)

3. LOVE BUG - this is what you 'trick-or-treated' in. dad took you out. you got 8 pieces of candy. uncle tanner felt bad and so he let you pick out whatever you wanted from his pile.

chocolate.

i don't know if you are allowed to have chocolate, but i gave you some today...along with a lot of sugar, butter, and other fattening things.
you had your first muffin today, and you ate it all by yourself. it was a banana-apple-chocolate muffin. you helped me bake them.  they are dad's favorite. especially when we cook them in the mini muffin tins.  you made a huge mess and got so mad when i tried to take it away. so i let you eat it.  everything that you didn't eat, you just squished in between your fingers...mmm...

you have yet to miss a broncos game.  you have seen every game so far the whole time you have been alive. you are a huge fan, just like mom and dad. games wouldn't be the same without you.

parade of homes

dad wants to build a house for us.  he loves to go look at other houses and pick out just what he likes.  and he loves this even more when we come with him. today we went to the parade of homes with dad.  you and him were buddies.  he toted you around with him everywhere.  he isn't very good at keeping you asleep though.  he just always wants to play with you and show you everything he finds.

stranger danger.

grandma mitchell is out of town today with great grandma mitchell.  they took the week off and went to the beach to celebrate g.ma's birthday...and i have school today...so that means we have a problem. no one to watch you. but cousin autumn came to the rescue and said she would play all day with you.  i was super nervous to leave you with someone else.  i have never done that before. but you survived. you played all morning, took a nap and then went over to autumn's friends house.  her name is amy.  rumor is you liked her because she has blonde hair like me.

autumn said you were well behaved, and i believe her. i mean, you're perfect, right? could you be anything but?

you had on a crazy outfit today...your hair is also getting long, and if i don't fix it for you, then you just look like the scary hairy monster. but still, you're adorable. you give me looks all the times now, like you're trying to tell me something. i can't quite read you yet, but sometimes i like to think i can.
